²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and Cox Communications to celebrate 21 Arizona high schools as winners of the 2024-25 AZ FAFSA Challenge
WHAT: The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, Cox Communications and the AZ FAFSA Coalition will celebrate the winning students and schools on May 7, 2025, at a luncheon hosted by Cox at its Deer Valley Campus.
The event will recognize students and faculty from 21 winning schools, honoring their significant efforts to improve completion rates of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a critical financial aid tool supporting postsecondary education.
The event will feature a luncheon for the students, where Cox will award iPads to three students from each of the winning schools. There will also be photo opportunities with Arizona Cardinals mascot Big Red, and celebratory remarks from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Chair Cecilia Mata, Cox Communications Phoenix Market Vice President Susan Anable, and Governor Katie Hobbs Education Policy Advisor Erin Hart. Troy Lynch, reporter for 12 News, will serve as emcee for the program.
